About
Welcome to Zozo's Sandwich House, a beloved dining gem nestled in the heart of Spokane, WA, at 2501 N Monroe St. This charming eatery exudes a friendly diner vibe, welcoming locals and newcomers alike with warmth and genuine hospitality. Regulars like Aimee Laufer can't help but rave about the scrumptious sandwiches and the vibrant energy of the staff, led by the delightful Tye, who is known for his enthusiastic greetings and engaging personality.
What sets Zozo's apart? It’s their dedication to fresh ingredients and quality craftsmanship. Take the smash burgers, for instance. According to fans like Georgia Williams, they feature perfectly smashed patties with crispy edges complemented by a range of fresh toppings and luxurious potato buns that are, without a doubt, heavenly. Each bite is a testament to the care and skill that goes into crafting these delicious sandwiches.
But the menu doesn’t stop at burgers; the offerings extend to tantalizing pulled pork sandwiches, like the Island Style Pulled Pork, which promises a delightful experience free from unwanted fat, thanks to their meticulous hand-pulling technique. And if you think you’ve had enough sandwiches for one day, consider their daily rotating selection of homemade soups. As gcleff11 emphasizes, dishes like the Broccoli Cheddar soup are so rich and cheesy that they could easily stand alone as a meal.
There’s something for everyone at Zozo's—whether it’s the savory pork cutlet sandwich that wins over more traditional palates or the breakfast BLT that is praised for its light yet filling nature, each item on the menu strikes a perfect balance between flavor and satisfying portions. For those who crave unique culinary creations, don’t miss the Bun Jovis, burgers that strike the ideal harmony of crunch and juiciness with every bite.
The fridges are stocked with drinks that perfectly complement the meal, and the fries have earned their own accolades for being simply awesome. Elizabeth Morell noted her love for the turkey club and the Reuben, both exemplifying the excellence of the bread that binds the sandwiches together.
In summary, Zozo's Sandwich House is not just a sandwich shop; it’s a community hub brimming with flavor, friendly faces, and an inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re a lifelong Spokane resident or a traveler passing through, this is the place where memorable meals are made. Be sure to drop by—and prepare to be treated like family.
“ I genuinely can't believe I haven't made a review sooner because I frequent Zozo's (so often that they know me by name) Not only do they have some of the best food but the service is some of the best I've received in Spokane. Tye is the sweetest and has such a fun outgoing energy as soon as you walk in. All of the staff is super friendly and greets everyone they come across. The atmosphere is definitely good old friendly diner vibes and the art on the walls is worth looking at for sure! As far as food goes, oh my goodness! The smash burgers are my favorite smash burgers in town. The meat is perfectly smashed with crispy edges, the toppings are yummy and fresh, and the potato buns they use are literally to die for. Also they rotate 3-4 homemade soups daily and I haven't tried one that I don't like! As a whole, Zozo's is such an incredible establishment and I will always spend my money at a friendly, tasty local joint. I recommend Zozo's to literally anyone that asks and send people here regularly! ”
“ I got the Island Style Pulled Pork sandwich and it was AMAZING. Generally I am wary of pulled pork as it has globs of fat that will interrupt the sandwich experience, the staff told me they hand pull the pork. In doing so they end up removing all the fat from the meat leaving just a delicious sandwich to be had. Absolutely will be returning! ”
“ Spokane loves their local sandwich shops, and Zozo's definitely stands out as one of the better ones. Ingredients are as fresh as you can get, with pillow-soft breads--crisped up on the griddle when called for--and savory sides for lunch. My mid-western Wifey was thrilled to find a pork cutlet sammie, and raved about it with every bite. Don't sleep on their breakfast BLT. It was both light, and filling, and more than enough for a hearty appetite. And, these guys know their soups. The Broccoli Cheddar was gloriously cheeeeesy, and could be a fine lunch on it's own with one of their salads. Folks in there were friendly, even though very busy. This is a great lunch spot... ”
“ Epic. I got two Bun Jovis. Reasonably priced but tasty burgers. The bun doesn’t collapse. The surface area of the lettuce gives it a nice volume without sacrificing the crunch factor. The smash burger was correctly smashed (not into a thin slice of meat) - thin enough to develop a nice sear but thick enough to maintain juiciness. The toasted bun doesn’t get soggy due to the ordering of toppings and condiments. ”
“ Friendly staff with great recommendations. We had the turkey club and the Reuben. Both sandwiches were great. I love the bread. The fries are awesome! ”
“ we order zozo’s for lunch at my work at least once a month, closer to once a week sometimes! we are all obsessed with their tater tots and “house whiz” cheese sauce! their ranch, zo sauce (fry sauce), and garlic aioli are also very yummy for dipping. my bosses get the turkey crunch and split it (every. time.) it is their go-to!! i love the breakfast tots, biscuits and gravy, mother clucker, and everything else i’ve ever tried. i’ve only actually been inside once or twice but the art in there is absolutely spectacular to look at. it’s super unique and makes me want to buy it(: there’s booths and tables inside, and amazing service! half the people in there eating are regulars, and the staff are all so sweet and welcoming. feels like an old-school diner in the best way possible(: ”
“ Atmosphere, food, great staff. This place has it all. The sandwiches/burgers are amazing with flavor and variety. The hostess, Ty (sp?), suggested the garlic fries, and they were on point! I'm looking forward to coming back again and again to try different stuff on the menu. ”
“ I have meant to go here for so long!! We went today and it was very busy. Fast and friendly service. I have been told the Bun Jovi tatses pretty close to an In and Out burger. It really does! It was delicious, and I probably will get that again. The garlic sauce we had for our tots was amazing. He got the cheese steak sandwich, and it was also so good. I got a bite! They have a nice looking breakfast menu as well. If you haven't tried this place you must! ”
